A commission for Art S.. This locket holds an engagement ring (provided by Mr. S.). There are two spring-loaded latches built into the rear panel of the locket to ensure that the ring stays safe. The carving on the front of the piece is based on Art's own face. THe cord is hand knotted.

I did all of the design work for this piece by hand, and learned a lot about drafting in the process. It was extremely gratifying to see the individual components develop simultaneously on paper, first as sketches then renderings, and then to make each in metal, and have them all fit together and function properly in three dimensions.
